British Institute of Human Rights is working with West Dorset District Council, Weymouth and Portland Borough Council, and Dorset Healthcare to host a Human Rights Event in Dorset on 5 October, part of BIHR's UK-wide 15 Days of Action. The will raise awareness about Human Rights in Dorchester and to bring the Human Rights discussion to local communities. The event has been highlighted by several prominent members of the locality, such as Cllr Christine James, Weymouth and Portland Borough Council's briefholder for social inclusion, who said: "The tour is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Human Rights.
