Resource Launch: Human Rights and Advocacy

Today we launch our new resource ‘Human Rights and Advocacy: A Short-guide’ For anyone who is accessing health or care services, or anyone that is assisting someone that is, this booklet aims to give you concise information on human rights and how they can help you to gain more dignified care and treatment if you experience issues.  We will all come into contact with the health system in some form during our lives, so this booklet provides the base information in a clear way to help navigate that potentially difficult and confusing system.  We hope that it will be useful for professional advocates, family members and anyone else who may need some guidance on human rights.  So delve in and download your copy online: https://www.bihr.org.uk/human-rights-and-advocacy  Or request your hard copy from our online shop (we only charge for postage) using this link: https://www.bihr.org.uk/shop/human-rights-and-advocacy-a-short-guide
