2 October 2015 will mark the 15th anniversary of the Human Rights Act and the return of BIHR’s annual Human Rights Tour. To celebrate, we are making this year’s Tour the biggest ever and have launched our first ever crowdfunding page, asking people to join us and support our Fifteen Days of Action Campaign. As the government presses on with its commitment to repeal the Human Rights Act, it is more important than ever that people speak up for the our universal protections and the stories of the positive difference the Act has made are heard. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Human Rights Act, we have organised a packed plan of exciting activities taking place between 2 and 16 October to raise awareness of the positive changes the Human Rights Act has brought about across the UK.
