5 June 2018 This week marks the fifth National Patient Participation Awareness Week, highlighting the importance of patient participation in achieving excellence in care for all patients. The week is organised by the National Association for Patient Participation, the national umbrella body for patient-led groups in primary care working with GPs and practice teams to ensure the patients perspective is at the heart of local health and care services. BIHR has a long history of working with health and care services, using human rights to empower patients and drive up quality of care.
