It’s Thanksgiving. We’ve all been warned not to travel, but the airlines remain open, the Amtrak cafe cars keep serving food to be eaten unmasked, and Republicans are pushing for liability protection with the understanding that business as usual means some of us will die. We spoke to Dr. Steven Thrasher and Dr. Victoria Dooley about how to handle the holiday, and how to shift our political leadership from saying they “believe in science,” to acting like it.
Also, Virgil explains why Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday, why turkey isn’t a trash bird, and (under duress) what he’s grateful for.
