Human Rights Weekly News Round-Up 23 – 26 November 2020

News from BIHR Sessions! We really enjoy delivering human rights sessions as a chance to engage with lots of different groups of people across the country and help them understand more about human rights and what they mean. This week, we’ve supported people with disabilities to know their rights when accessing services with Inclusion Gloucestershire – particularly the right to private & family life! We also worked with Scottish Autism to support autistic adults accessing/trying to access health and care during Covid-19 and their loved ones to know and apply human rights in their lives. On Wednesday, we hosted our November Lunch & Learn on the right to be free from torture & inhuman or degrading treatment with our Communities of Practice. On Friday, we’ll be working with senior social workers to support them to see their work as human rights work!! Find out more about our work here! Blog! We’ve got a great range of blogs for you to have a look at! Why not…
