Over the years FORUM-ASIA has intervened and advocated to bring human rights situations in Asia to the attention of the United Nations and the international community.
These include advocacy and lobbying to call for the Council’s scrutiny and action on human rights situations in Myanmar, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Kashmir and Cambodia.
Thematically, FORUM-ASIA engages on issues related to the protection of human rights defenders, freedom of expression, peaceful assembly and association, and business and human rights.
