British citizens face new challenges after Britain disaffiliates from EU under Brexit agreement
Earlier, British citizens were exempt from checking and customs duties and there were no restrictions on delivery of food items. No longer can people from UK enter EU from their home country with food, meat or packed lunches.
British citizens traveling to the Netherlands after Brexit were shocked when customs officials confiscated all food items, including bread, meat and sandwiches.
It may recalled that on December 31, United Kingdom separate from European Union and now according to new rules on European Union meat, dairy products, fruits and vegetables are not allowed in countries outside European bloc to keep animals safe.
