PETA and its affiliates’ investigations have revealed that crying alpacas are tied to racks and left with bloody wounds from shearing; sensitive cows are burned, electroshocked, beaten, and slaughtered for leather; sheep are punched; goats often suffer from bloody, gaping wounds at mohair and cashmere operations; and workers yank the feathers of ducks and geese out by the fistful for down. There’s no reason for these brands to continue using animals for their products, especially when so many vegan materials are readily available.
