UK suspend flights from UAE, Burundi and Rwanda amid new wave of corona virus.

The United Kingdom has banned direct flights from UAE since Friday, world’s busiest air route closure from Dubai to London. According to statistics, 190,000 passenger seats were booked on this route in the month of January.

Along with UAE, British government has suspends flights from African countries of Burundi and Rwanda to protect against a new wave of corona virus.

The British Transport Minister, Grand Shapps, said in a Twitter message that people belongs to these countries or who are coming from these countries on transit or temporary travel will not be allowed to enter UK. However, British and Irish citizens will be exempted.

The UK is largest transit destination for Australians coming to UK and now cancellation of Emirates and Etihad flights has created major difficulties for passengers. The Australian government has indicated for convenience of its citizens, government will operate charter flights from London to Australia.
