Saudi Arabia and Germany have reached on an agreement to produce hydrogen.

Zaka Mohsin, Riyadh,

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman and German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmeier have signed a memorandum of understanding on hydrogen production during a virtual meeting.

Prince Abdul Aziz said on the occasion, “We have rich energy resources for the production of green and blue hydrogen. We can lead the world in hydrogen production while Saudi Arabia is the world’s largest oil exporter. Now KSA also wants to be the largest exporter of hydrogen. This clean fuel is being publicized as important in tackling the effects of climate change and air pollution”.

Saudi Arabia has a brilliant plan to produce pollution-free fuel. It will not be challenged as the world’s largest exporter of hydrogen. Saudi Arabia has huge reserves of natural gas and can produce huge amounts of blue hydrogen.
