Human rights group URA protests against forced deportation of illegal immigrants in Dresden, Germany

Mehwish, Germany,

The demonstration was organized by PTI activist and social media activist Rana Saqib Khalid and the human rights organization URA. The demonstration was attended by the Pakistani community and people from various German organizations

Protesters say the world is trying to integrate immigrants instead of deporting them because of the COVID-19, while they are facing deportation problems in Germany because of the wrong policies of the current German government.

Despite the severe cold, large numbers of Germans took part in the demonstration. Demonstrators demanded that long-term immigrants should be issued visas and giving them right to stay in Germany on the basis of their wages. Speaking at the demonstration, they called on Home Office to provide millions of workers and skilled workers in Germany each year, so that these illegal immigrants could be given the legal right to live here.
According to Rana Saqib Khalid, called deportation policy is inhumane and part of the capitalist system. There was an unrest among immigrants in Germany he added.

Young people have been displaced from their homes for fear of detention. They called on the government to stop this change and to persecute Pakistani immigrants in Germany.
