ICNA Relief continues medical activities with social services across the United States. ICNA Relief inaugurates free medical camp in Peel, Texas with support of Pakistani American Doctors Association. Community members were also given CPR training along with Corona’s vaccination at the medical camp.
Two dozen people were given first dose of Moderna vaccine to protect them from corona at a free mobile medical camp set up for the community. Dr. Bilal Paracha and Fatima Akram provided CPR course training to 10 local community members.
Free screening of several families without discrimination of color and religion, blood pressure, diabetics and other tests were also conducted.
The participants of the medical camp were examined by Dr. Warner Messe, Dr. Mammet Habib and Dr. Bilal Paracha. The well reputed team also gave them medical advice. Pharmacist Dr. Sohail, Lama Ahmed provided other services.
According to Dr. Sohail, more medical camps would be set up in mosques, churches and community centers in collaboration with the local health department.
On the occasion, people who did not have health insurance were offered for various free tests at local clinics.
