Several Twitter and Facebook users posted the video.

This viral video is not from Nepal. The man delivering the speech is Himachal Pradesh Congress MLA Jagat Singh Negi. Live Times TV uploaded the video on March 17. The official Facebook account of Indian National Congress – Himachal Pradesh also posted the video of his speech made in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

“Congress MLA Jagat Singh Negi gave a brilliant speech in Himachal Pradesh Vidhan on privatization. Jagat Singh Negi Targeted the Modi government for selling government companies. The Congress MLA opposed privatization in the Modi government,” reported Hindustan Live.

A video of Congress MLA Jagat Singh Negi’s speech in Himachal Pradesh vidhan sabha was shared on social media with the false claim that Nepalese leader criticised PM Modi’s policies.
