Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were in West Bengal to campaign for the BJP in the ongoing assembly elections. Photographs of the two leaders have been shared with the claim that they campaigned in Sonagachi, the largest red-light area in Asia.

Both images have been morphed. Amit Shah had himself tweeted the original photograph that does have the wall poster that says ‘Sonagachi’. The image was taken during door-to-door campaigning in Bhabanipur.
