Yesterday we raised nearly $100,000 for Myon Burrell, who was wrongly convicted for a murder he had nothing to do with in Minneapolis nearly 20 years ago. He was just a kid and spent 18 years of his life in prison. I’m so grateful for everybody who gave. And I just want to be clear – no matter how many lies people tell on me across the Internet, I am literally never going to stop raising money for these families impacted by police violence, racial injustice, and mass incarceration.
