Businesses across Jerusalem, the occupied West Bank, Gaza, and Palestinian communities inside Israel are shuttered as workers, young people, and activists take to the streets to demand an immediate end to the latest chapter in Israel’s recent offensive against Palestine. Israel’s airstrikes, coupled with police and military operations on the ground across the region, have resulted in the deaths of 212 people, with tens of thousands of people left without homes or access to basic necessities like electricity and water.
