Indian Army bans Kashmiris from visiting graves of martyrs and all kinds of activities on Martyrs’ Day in Occupied Kashmir. The Pakistani and Kashmiri community protested in New York’s Times Square against India’s inhumane behavior, Sikh community also participating in solidarity.
A large number of women and children also participated in the demonstration. Participants took pictures of Kashmiri children, who are the victims of Indian atrocities. They also carried banners and placards based on various demands.
On the occasion senior Kashmiri leader Ghulam Nabi Fai talking with VOSA tv and said that US President Joe Biden says the foundation of United States is the safeguard of human rights, then Kashmiris also have the rights to be protected.
Other protesters said that India had escalated atrocities in the Valley after culmination the special status of Occupied Kashmir, but the international community remained silent.
Demonstrators say India cannot suppress Kashmiris’ struggle for independence by force, we stand with our oppressed Kashmiri brothers against Indian atrocities. The protesters demanded that United Nations resolve the Kashmir issue on priority on the basis of human rights
