First time in the history of cricket, US cricket lovers organized mega event APL-American Primer League. The tournament kicks off this September. A fascinating launched ceremony of Premium Windees, Premium Americans and Premium Aussies were organized at a local hall on Richmond Hill in New York.
The ceremony featured head coach Afzal Butt, Pakistan former fast bowler Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Ali Paks Team owner, Sherry Baton “Premium Aussies” owner, Eraj Abidi “Premium Americans” owner, Michael Work “Premium Windees” owner and J. Mir, APL founder.
New York State Assembly member Jennifer Raj Kumar, renown Pakistani figures and other communities, also attended.
APL founder J Mir and owner of Premium Paks Muhammad Ali address the launched ceremony and said that APL-American Premier League would not be just a tournament but would make a history in United States cricket.
Families of Team owners were also attended the event. All the teams were introduced in detail with the participants.
On the occasion, Sherry Baton, owner of Premium Aussies, Eraj Abidi of Americans and Michael Work of Windees said that APL has already gained a lot of popularity before its launch, hopefully cricket fans will see good cricket in US.
State Assembly member Jennifer Raj Kumar, also expressed her views and said that APL has provided best platform for players from communities to show their cricket skills.
Music concert was also arranged in colorful launched ceremony, participants were appreciated. Cricket fans are eager to watch APL matches and said that new talent will emerge in the American Premier League.
