ICNA Relief organizes a vaccination camp for Afghan refugee families in Fair Oaks Park, Dallas, Texas. Along with the picnic, warm clothes and basic necessities were distributed in anticipation of winter arrival.State Representative Anna Maria Rodriguez Ramos and Council man Arifin Shams along with ICNA Relief Chief Executive Officer Maqsood Ahmed and Chief Operating Officer Abdul Rauf Khan were present in the event.
Hundreds of blankets, Jackets, hats, Gloves, Socks, groceries, Toys, prayers sheets, Holy Quran, School bags and household items were distributed among Afghan refugees.Medical relief camp was also set up on the event. Blood pressure, Diabetes, Free health screening services including BMI were provided at the camp. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to the Guests and volunteers.
ICNA Relief also held a medical relief camp at Wood Haven Boulevard. Queens, Assembly Woman Jennifer Raj Kumar participated and praised ICNA Relief medical services.
Dr. Mushahid Farooqi and Dr. Farooq Qureshi, participated in the medical camp and has said that various medical tests and medicines were provided to the peoples in the camp.
ICNA Relief, the largest Muslim organization, aims to serve those in need, regardless of race color and nationality.
