Ep. 213: Saving Private Animals Abandoned In Ukraine

Animals abandoned by private individuals who have fled their invaded country are on the streets of Ukraine. PETA Germany has gone to the border of Ukraine and Poland to help people and their animals there. But PETA isn’t stopping at the border. It’s going into the country to save as many animals as they can, and bring them to safety. And PETA is giving out 40,000 pounds of dog food to make sure hungry animals can be fed. PETA Germany investigator Judith Peine talked with Emil Guillermo about what it’s like to be at the western border of Ukraine now.
