APPAC host a meeting and reception in honor of Jon Kaiman, a Democratic candidate from New York’s Third Congressional District. John has an extensive experience in helping communities.The meeting and reception was held at the residence of APPAC Ijaz Ahmed. Adnan Bukhari and others APPAC office bearers were also present. Pakistani, Bangladeshi Muslim Americans and local leaders from South Asian communities attended the event. Kaiman is considered a firm supporter of the Pakistani-American community.
Candidate Jon Kaiman said he thinks it’s time to represent his people in Washington DC.
APPAC director Ijaz Ahmed and other’s said that the number of Pakistani Muslim though South Asian communities in Long Island was increasing and the importance of politics for them was also growing day by day.
The development of communities in the United States depends on their active participation in the political process and to strengthen this, APPAC has always provided services for political awareness in the community.
