Although the Rights Removal Bill has currently been paused, it does not mean our Human Rights Act is safe. Our rights are still at risk. The UK is currently facing a cost of living crisis and increasing inequality. Although there is currently a lot going on in Parliament, it is more important than ever that the Government is not allowed to weaken the important protections offered by our Human Rights Act. We need to continue raising awareness of the importance of our Human Rights Act, and of the on-going risks to our human rights protections.
