The VegNews Holiday Vegan Cookie Contest is an annual tradition, and is anticipated by the VN team all year long. Every December, we invite our readers to submit their favorite vegan holiday cookie recipe, and then the VegNews Test Kitchen starts baking. And baking. And baking. Our editors then sample all of the cookies, and vote for our top three (we’re very opinionated). These Chocolate Peppermint Buttons are one of our all-time favorite award-winning recipes.
