W2W Forum set to hold its 5th annual International Women’s Day

New Jersey: Like every year, Women2Women Forum (W2W) is organizing an annual International Women’s Day event this year as well. The program of its 5th International Women’s Day will be held on March 5.

In the pre-organization meeting of the Women2Women Forum at a local restaurant in New Jersey, the host committee informed about the details of the event.

Nusrat Sohail, the chairperson of the Woman2Women Forum, said that International Women’s Day is an annual event of the forum in which panels discuss various topics of community interest while talking about bringing social changes in America with the help of women from the community.

Sabeen Sarmast, a woman abuse survivor who participated in the meeting, said that she had been a victim of domestic violence and was aware of all the problems faced by women.

“So I myself want to help people through this forum,” she said.

It was informed in the meeting that Woman2Woman annually selects Women of Distinction or Heroes community and awards them in recognition of their services.

Like every year, this year too, the Women2Women Forum will award five American women and one man who have rendered valuable services to the community.

In the meeting, a discussion was held with the host committee about the event and sub-committees related to the program were also formed.

The pre-event meeting was also briefed about the newly established transitional home Shahzavari House by the Women2Women Forum.
