NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams hosts Iftar Dinner

New York: New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams hosted a grand iftar dinner in honor of Muslim Community.

The event was attended by the Muslim community in large numbers besides the US officials and people from other religions and school of thoughts.

The ceremony started with the recitation of Holy Quran.

Aqsa Rashid moderated the event proceedings.

Addressing the participants of the Iftar on this occasion, New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams said that the blessings of Ramadan are being seen all over the world and Ramadan reminds us that, as always, this time too we need to help our neighbors, show love to family and community people.

On this occasion, New York City Deputy Public Advocate Kashif Hussain said that Jumani William always treats the Muslim community with love and compassion and tries to serve them more than before.

A performance of Uzbek cultural music was also presented at the event.

Appreciation shields were also presented to the organizers on this occasion.

Kashif Hussain, Deputy Public Advocate of New York City, welcomed the guests and expressed his gratitude to the contributors.
