New Jersey: Pakistani American Congress has become active once again to unite overseas Pakistanis and has started working on the mission of making Pakistan stable.
Leaders of the organization say that all overseas Pakistanis should invest heavily in Pakistan and those living abroad must send remittances to their families, legally.
Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt and Consul General of Pakistan in New York Ayesha Ali participated as special guests in the press conference held at the residence of Pakistani American Congress Dr. Khalid Luqman in New Jersey under the title “Rebuild Pakistan”.
The conference was officially started with the recitation of Holy Quran. Vice president of the organization, Danish Malik had the honor to recite the verses of the holy Quran.
Senator Shaheen Butt, the chief guest of the event, said that Pakistan is geographically very important in this region.
The country cannot develop only with the efforts of a single political party, everyone has to play their own role in the development of the country.
On this occasion, Consul General Ayesha Ali expressed her views and said that during my posting in New York, I have found overseas Pakistanis to be very loving towards the country, irrespective of their affiliation with any political party.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Khalid Luqman, President of the Pakistani American Congress, said that Pakistan is rich in natural resources, there is no shortage of talent and skills among the youth of the country, but political conflicts are causing irreparable damage to the country. All of us must work together.
The participants in the press conference asked various questions to the leadership of the Pakistani American Congress to which they answered.
The participants also reiterated their determination that they will always put the country’s and national interest first.
