Arrangements were made this time as usual, where conferences were held on various topics.

A colorful bazaar was decorated for the visitors, where stalls of Pakistani clothing, jewelry, and other products were put on display, while many companies associated with the medical services sector also set up their booths.

Apart from this, operational charitable organizations in Pakistan and other developing countries also participated in this convention.

On this occasion APPAC Chairman Dr. Ijaz Ahmed said that the purpose of holding this convention of APPNA is to mobilize all Pakistani doctors from America and Canada.

While he believes that the host committee of the 46th convention seems to have succeeded in this goal. He said that where innovation is coming in every field around the world, new inventions are also happening rapidly in the medical field.

Through this convention, doctors also get to know about the latest research and developments in the health fields and doctors also share their experiences and observations with each other.

On the other hand, an APPNA official who wished not to be named told about the convention that the total number of Pakistani doctors in America and Canada is more than 20,000, while APPNA, which claims to be the largest organization of doctors, has so far made only around 4,000 Pakistani doctors as members.

This number has remained constant for the past several years, while according to reports, only about 2500 member doctors are active in APPNA, while others have been disconnected for one reason or another.

Participants of the convention said that this is the first year since the pandemic in which people have seen strong participation and a lot of information is provided here for the new doctors.

People participating in the convention said that APPNA is quite successful in promoting Pakistani culture in America

APPNA’s 46th convention seems to be successful in terms of attendance and activities, but will this convention be able to motivate more than 15,000 Pakistani doctors, or significantly increase the current selected team membership of APPNA will be assessed in the next convention.
