New York: Pakistani American Association of New York (PAANY) celebrated the Independence Day of Pakistan at Coney Island.
The event was attended by Ahsan Chughtai, Advisor to New York Mayor Eric Adams, and the officials of the organization.
The event began with the recitation of the holy Quran followed by Naat-e-Rasool PBUH.
The National Anthem was presented and the flag was hoisted at the Independence Day celebrations.
On this occasion, the officials of Pakistani American Association of New York said that this event is being organized for the last four years and will continue to be organized in the same way in the future.
Ahsan Chughtai, Senior Advisor of Mayor New York, participating in the flag hoisting ceremony, congratulated the participants on the 76th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence and invited them to participate fully in all such events to be held in the future.
At the end of the ceremony, a cake cutting ceremony was held prayed for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
