Declassified Documents Shed Light on U.S.-Backed Coup in Chile Fifty Years Later
On August 25, the Biden Administration made public previously classified documents related to the days leading up to the 1973 coup d’etat against Chilean President Salvador Allende. Hundreds of family members of the “missing” still await closure.
