New York: As the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal begins, Muslims across the United States have started celebrations of the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi peace be upon him (PBUH), with religious zest and fervor.
The annual Milad-un-Nabi procession was held in Jackson Heights under the umbrella of the Muslim Coalition of New York.
The eighth annual Eid procession took place from 72 Street Broadway in Jackson Heights neighborhood which was led by religious scholars.
A large number of political, social and business figures of the Pakistani American community participated in the procession.
The famed Naat Khuan Muhammad Asghar Chishti, who participated in the procession, presented Naat-e-Rasool PBUH, with his beautiful voice.
The procession passed through its designated routes and reached Kabab King, where a conference was held in connection with the Eid-Milad-un-Nabi.
