ECP announces holding of elections in January 2024

KARACHI: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday announced to hold general elections in Pakistan in the last week of January 2024.

Issuing a statement, ECP said that the commission has reviewed the delimitation process in the country and decided that the initial list of delimitations will be published on September 27, 2023.

The final list of delimitation of constituencies will be published on November 30, 2023, after hearing the objections and proposals of the parties with regard to delimitation.

ECP said that the election is to be held in the last week of January 2024 after giving the 54-day election schedule.
