October is National Adopt-a-Dog Month, the perfect time to showcase celebrities who deserve recognition. While some famous people are still buying dogs instead of adopting, these stars are using their influence to champion adoption.
An estimated 70 million homeless dogs and cats are struggling to survive in the U.S., and that number climbs whenever someone decides to buy a dog or any other animal from a breeder, a pet store, or anywhere else.
