After two decades of making sure people have the hots for what’s in the box with the dots, Domino’s chief executive Don Meij is retiring.
The pizza chain made the announcement on the ASX on Tuesday.
Mr Meij has been at the company for almost 40 years, spending 22 of them as chief executive.
Mark van Dyck, who served on the executive board and was regional managing director of food service provider Compass Group, has been named as successor, effective November 6.

Mr Meij will spend the next year working with the board and Mr van Dyck.
“Domino’s really has been my life,” Mr Meij said.
“”When I started as a delivery driver in Redcliffe, Queensland, I never imagined I’d become CEO of a truly global company with more than $4 billion in sales.”
Under Mr Meij, Domino’s became listed in 2005, with 387 stores and sales of $300 million.
It now has 3700 stores and sales of about $4 billion.
