Human rights lawyers heat on Productivity Commission over Israel

A group of lawyers and human rights advocates led by barrister Benedict Coyne have written to the Productivity Commission ahead of a speech by chairperson Danielle Wood at the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce lunch this week.

The group of legal professionals and international human rights law (IHRL) advocates including the Australian Centre for International Justice (ACIJ) express “grave concern” about the support by the PC for an organisation associated with human rights abuses in Gaza.
