On 4 December, we reported that Reform UK had suspended Staffordshire Council leader Ian Cooper. Now, they’ve given him the boot:
The leader of @StaffordshireCC Ian Cooper has had his membership revoked by Reform UK.

At this rate, Reform UK could end up losing councillors faster than they can get them elected.
Bye bye
Cooper got in trouble after Hope not Hate and Reform Exposed drew attention to his online activity:
NEW: In a recent interview, Reform UK’s Ian Cooper declared that he wanted to carry out his role as leader of Staffordshire County Council with “competence and professionalism” and “keep under the radar”.
Alas, that’s not what we found: https://t.co/H6Fv06QIBm pic.twitter.com/ztA5W1Zj43

Reform's Staffordshire council leader made series of racist posts including telling a British woman to "f*** off back to Nigeria" and liking white supremacist posts saying "White Men Have The Best Lives Because We Are White & Better Than Rest Of the World" https://t.co/zQh3uj16n4 pic.twitter.com/u0qdEg67L5

While Reform have booted Cooper out of their party, he’s still the leader of the council. This could change, however, with Staffordshire County Council stating that plans to nominate a new leader could be agreed at the next full council meeting.
Meanwhile, local Tory councillors are sticking the boot in, with leader Philip White stating:
It was inevitable that Ian Cooper would have to go, but Reform have done nothing to address the bigotry that appears to be embedded in their Staffordshire branch.
Nigel Farage needs to instigate an urgent review of his entire Staffordshire operation. This is the third time since May this has happened with a Staffordshire Reform councillor and that pattern cannot be ignored.
One of the other Reform UK councillors in question is this guy:

He hates the police, and thinks they are scum. Yes, he is a Reform UK councillor. pic.twitter.com/vKU6KYaSqo

Reform UK
Increasingly, it looks like Reform are attracting very-online racists who think they can turn their internet grievances into real-world politics. Because these people are careless and unthinking, however, it’s not taking long to expose them.
We don’t know what’s going on at the Reform vetting department, but this post seems accurate:
