New York: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram has confirmed that the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar is participating in the forthcoming 78th annual UN General Assembly meeting in New York.
He said this in a press conference at the Pakistan Consulate.
Addressing a press conference Munir Akram said that Pakistan’s representation in the annual General Assembly of the United Nations is essential.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar is coming to attend the General Assembly meeting. Caretaker Prime Minister’s visit to America will be very busy, Prime Minister will participate in 5 summit meetings.
Munir Akram said that wherever international meetings are held, Pakistan’s non-participation in them does not create a good impression at the international level.
Prime minister, foreign minister, whoever is the person, they represent Pakistan on international forums.
Whoever will be the Prime Minister will present the interests of Pakistan to the world leaders in the General Assembly session, he said.
In response to a question, Munir Akram said that how a delegation will come from Indian Occupied Kashmir, they have been locked up, the people of Occupied Kashmir will be represented by a delegation from Azad Kashmir.
