New York: As the 12th Rabi-ul-Awal is fast approaching, the second annual Milad-ul-Nabi PBUH was held at Masjid Baitul-Karam in Brooklyn, New York, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Nat-e-Rasool SAW.
A large number of people participated in the Milad.
The Milad procession took place under the leadership of the guardian of the mosque, Mir Hussain Shah, and other scholars. On this occasion, breakfast was arranged for the participants.
Despite the heavy rain and freezing winds, the followers of Prophet PBUH kept the procession moving in an orderly manner. On this occasion, the atmosphere was echoed with Durood -o- Salam.
During the procession, Pir Syed Shahzad Mustafa Hussaini and Allama Saiful Nabi spoke to the participants. The speakers said that it is a special grace of the Lord of the worlds that he enlightened our hearts and minds with the teachings of the Qur’an and the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
The participants of the procession carried the green flag in their hands and recited salutations on their way to their destination.
Qari Ghulam Rasool and Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Saeed expressed their views on this occasion.
Even heavy rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of the participants. The procession of Milad-un-Nabi passed through different streets and ended by reaching Bait-ul-karam Mosque. .
On this occasion, Mir Hussain Shah, the founder of the procession and the leader of Masjid Bait-ul-Karam, said that our action is an expression of God’s pleasure, closeness to God and love for the two worlds.
Later, the Zohr prayer call was given in the mosque and the participants offered Namaz in congregation.
