Kennedy Jr. announced on Wednesday that he is formally rescinding the use of thimerosal in vaccines distributed throughout the United States — despite the fact that there is no evidence of harm from the ingredient. The move was recommended by a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) committee last month.
