Renter’s union Acorn have taken over a bailiffs meeting because, well, fuck bailiffs.

Renter’s union Acorn have taken over a bailiff’s conference in Manchester. HA!

This is good because fuck bailiffs… and landlords… and anyone who defends them on this mad island where it costs about £7,000 to rent a tubercular box room in Middlesbrough.

Okay it might not be that bad, but it will be if people like us don’t start sorting out the housing crisis.

Anyway, look:

Cool, huh?

Acorn: messing with wankers

So, Acorn have hijacked the conference of something called the Civil Court Users Association – It’s giving ‘massive wankers’ already, innit? – held in the People’s Republic of Mancunia.

The union says it’s part of their campaign for a Bailiff Free Britain. Fit.

They are currently occupying the main hall with some funky banners. Lol:

Not a bailiff in sight. Maybe they all went home. To their homes. The mortgages of which were doubtless paid by us. Wankers.

Acorn Manchester reported that union branches across the land have come together to argue for “dignity not debt”.

And it’s about time someone stuck it to these self-important parasitic freaks:

If you hate wankers – which is what our style guide insists we call bailiffs and landlords now (joking, but it should; sort it out, Steve Topple) – you can sign Acorn’s open letter:

Choose life, choose hating landlords.

So if you can’t join at the moment, help them out with retweets and sign their thing.

Because nothing says this country is fucked like a legion of tasteless, boring knobhead landlords and bailiffs hoovering up property and our collective future like it’s a bag of You-Know-What at the ‘I Have a Big Property Portfolio Annual Federation of Wankers Christmas Party’.

I need to flesh this out a bit so you can find out more about Acorn here:

ACORN is a mass membership organisation and network of low-income people organising for a fairer deal for our communities left behind by companies, councils and parliament. We know that the economic and political set up in this country isn’t working for us, so we set up ACORN to win the power and representation we are entitled to.

They sound like nice people – and they clearly do cool actions – so you should probably check them out.

Thanks.
