‘Snowflake’ Reform MP celebrates conviction of ‘heckler’

Reform

Free speech warrior Reform MP Lee Anderson is drawing criticism for celebrating the conviction of a woman who called him a “fucking wanker”. As you’ve no doubt worked out, this is doing nothing for his reputation as a ‘free speech warrior’:

“Justice at last”

The London Economic article referenced above reported:

In a video shared to Twitter by LBC, the local resident can be seen shouting obscenities at the high-profile politician. She didn’t detail her grievances, but the vocal citizen did get the chance to call Lee Anderson a ‘f*****g w****r’ in the town square.

The woman was then confronted by a handful of Anderson’s supporters – one of whom had to be told to get his hands off her. She dared the man to ‘touch her again’ – at which point, he wisely backed away.

As you can see from the following video, the woman was not happy with Anderson:

You know who is happy, though?

That’s right — free speech champion 30p Lee.

His statement in full reads (emphasis added):

Justice At Last.

In March 2024 a woman harassed and verbally assaulted me in Sutton Town centre. It was a vile tirade of vicious and threatening language that went on for 20 minutes whilst I was out on the campaign trail.

This was in front of my family members including my elderly mother.

The left wing press had a right giggle over it.

Earlier today in court I had the last laugh.

This woman was found guilty and she has been sentenced to a 12 month community order and has to perform 80 hours unpaid work and attend 20 rehab days.

The reason we’ve emphasised this is because he most certainly hasn’t had the ‘last laugh’:

Some pointed out Anderson’s past form on the topic:

Others described him as a snowflake:

Reform positioning

As many noted, Reform and its politicians have supported maximal free speech. This is why they promoted Lucy Connolly — the woman who was convicted for using her words as follows:

If Reform think it’s okay to call for the burning of hotels, they should also think it’s okay to harangue an MP in public; even if the language used was “vicious and threatening”.

Of course, most of us knew that Reform didn’t really give a shit about free speech. It’s just shocking that Anderson is too stupid to keep that fact hidden until after the election. We mean, it’s four years out for fuck’s sake — what else is he going to admit to between now and then?

Oh, and if this article hurts your feelings, Lee, be sure to take screengrabs now so that your blubbering doesn’t prevent you explaining to the police what we said, you laughable “fucking wanker”.
