Sydney march against trans discriminatory ‘Religious Discrimination Bill’

PM Scott Morrison’s Liberal-National Coalition government has temporarily shelved its “Religious Discrimination Bill”, which would have allowed religious schools to discriminate against and vilify students and staff for their sexuality or gender identity, after public outcry drove some Coalition MPs to cross the floor of federal Parliament on February 10. Nevertheless, thousands turned out to protests around Australia demanding that this discriminatory legislation be killed off completely.
