New York: Acclaimed Muslim scholar Tariq Jameel has suffered cardiac arrest, and moved to a hospital in Canada, according to his family. This is 2nd time he has suffered cardiac arrest in three years.
Tariq Jameel’s son Yousuf Jameel confirmed on his micro-blogging site –a Twitter message that his father suffered a heart attack in Canada, and has been rushed to the hospital due to a heart attack.
He said that by the grace of Allah, his condition is much better, and requested the people to pray for his speedy recovery.
He said that at around 1:00 PM according to Pakistan Standard Time and 3 PM night according Canadian time, he suffered heart and chest pain.
It is relevant to mention here that Maulana Tariq Jameel suffered a cardiac arrest in January 2019, and underwent a successful angioplasty in Lahore. A stent was inserted in his heart to clear the blockage of arteries, according to Pakistani news reports.
