href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/australia-news\/royal-commission-into-robodebt\">robodebt program<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/australia-news\/2023\/feb\/14\/egyptian-challenging-australias-indefinite-detention-warned-he-faces-forced-removal-within-month\">indefinite detention<\/a> and Covid policies in a new report setting out a model for a federal Human Rights Act.<\/p><p>According to the AHRC, a Human Rights Act could have provided safeguards to help prevent robodebt, and the \u201cabandonment\u201d and \u201cpotential endangerment\u201d of Australians overseas during the pandemic.<\/p><p><strong><a
