The Tories have managed the British economy since 2010 – more than 13 years. Unless you’re a seller of defective PPE<\/a> or a slumlord<\/a>, you’re probably not of the opinion that things have improved over that period. We’ve witnessed the death of high streets<\/a>; multiple cost of living crises<\/a>; the rise of precarious work<\/a>; ever lower wages<\/a>; overall increases to poverty, and a massive increase in the need for foodbanks<\/a> – all of which demonstrate a country in serious economic decline.<\/p>\n

Given that, you’d think the Tories would frame their abilities on something other than their (always dubious<\/a>) economic credentials. Or – to be more accurate – you’d think that if you didn’t understand the Tories are all shameless weasels:<\/p>\n
