To create a more enabling environment for HRDs, the session hopes to provide participants a safe space to step back and examine the larger picture of how narrative shaping work as well as how it can be an important tool for our advocacy cause.\u00a0 Given the dynamic of how narrative shaping work in different local context, the session will also be a sharing space to learn and unlearn of many experiences from different countries\/regions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge <strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Participants are informed on the different tactics or interventions in changing narratives.<\/li>\n<li>Skills <strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Participants are able to critically decide and program tactics to address narrative issues on human rights and democracy.<\/li>\n<li>Attitudes <strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Participants appreciate their own and the unique capacities of other entities in challenging dominant public consciousness and are able to see the value of collaborations in addressing narrative issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"syndicated-attribution\">This post was originally published on <a href=\"https:\/\/forum-asia.org\/?p=38795\">FORUM-ASIA<\/a>. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2.5 Workshop on Narrating Change 2nd November, 13:30 \u2013 15:30 pm, Room: Intan Suite \u00a0 Background: With increasing anti-human rights narrative throughout the region, many HRDs face additional challenges in their work given the unconducive environment that they are working in.
