Courts begin convicting people displaying symbols associated with \u2018LGBT movement\u2019 designated as extremist last year<\/p>
Two Russian courts have this week handed out the first convictions in connection with what the government calls the \u201cinternational LGBT social movement\u201d which was designated as extremist last year.<\/a><\/p> On Thursday, a court in the southern region of Volgograd found a man guilty of \u201cdisplaying the symbols of an extremist organisation\u201d after he posted a photograph of an LGBT flag online, according to the court\u2019s press service.<\/p> Continue reading...<\/a>\n
