A number of audience members suggested<\/a> it’s the Conservative Party that is extreme on Question Time<\/em>. The panel and audience were discussing the government’s new extremism definition.<\/p>\n

The definition does not criminalise, but seeks to prevent<\/a> ‘extremist’ groups receiving government funding or meeting ministers.<\/p>\n

“If that is not extremism, I don’t know what is”<\/h2>\n

Audience members pointed out that Conservative Party donor Frank Hester is extreme:<\/p>\n
