A webinar on Kashmir Solidarity Day was held at Pakistani Embassy in Germany. The webinar was attended by Chairman Kashmir Committee Shehriar Khan Afridi, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Masood Khan, Lord Wajid Khan, Volker Shipke, Christian Grosse and a large number of people from different schools of thought from Pakistani community in Germany.<\/p>\n
In his inaugural address, Pakistan Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Faisal highlighted the Indian atrocities being perpetrated on Kashmiri people and assured that the struggle of Kashmiris would stand by their right to self-determination.<\/p>\n
Lord Wajid Khan said that India should immediately end the illegal curfew imposed on occupied Kashmir on August 5, 2019 and restore the basic rights and freedom of expression of Kashmiri people. The Kashmiri people are not alone, we all stand with them.<\/p>\n
Azad Kashmir President Masood Khan said that international community, especially Germany, should ensure the basic human rights and freedom of expression of Kashmiri people and prevents the serious threats to global peace and security posed by India’s recent statements and actions. Kashmir Committee Chairman Shehryar Afridi said that Kashmir is not a bilateral issue between Pakistan and India but a human rights violation. World nations should keep in mind that these two countries are armed with nuclear weapons and if the issues are not resolved then reasons for World War III should be kept in mind considering the history of Germany.<\/p>\n\n
