Aviva Chomsky\u2019s new book, Central America\u2019s Forgotten History: Revolution, Violence, and the Roots of Migration<\/em><\/a>, provides a much-needed corrective to the skimpy and frequently inaccurate coverage of Central America which dominates U.S. media. But more than that, it makes a compelling case for, in Chomsky\u2019s words, \u201cchanging the structures and institutions which have brought so much harm [to the region].\u201d \t\t<\/p>\n
